Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Barnett has been ruled out of tonight's game at Seattle against the Seahawks and rookie Abdul Hodge (Iowa) will get the start in his place.
Barnett suffered a broken hand in last weeks loss against New England. He was hoping to play with a protective club on his hand. But after taking part in passing drills on Friday, he was unable to practice Saturday.
Hodge, who played well in training camp, has been playing on special teams, but missed five games with a knee injury before returning last week against the Patriots.
This will be the second game Barnett has missed in his four years with the Packers. He missed a game in his rookie season because of an ankle injury.
