Bond has been set at $100,000 for a Green Bay man accused of driving drunk when he struck two pedestrians late Sunday night, then driving home with one of the victims stuck in his windshield. Steven Warrichaiet was in Brown County court Tuesday, where he is faces several charges for a drunk driving accident that left one man dead and a woman with life threatening injuries.
Warrichaiet, age 40, is accused of driving drunk and hitting 50 year old Tyrone Ware and 41 year old Joann Carroll, then fleeing the scene with Ware lodged in his windshield. Warrichaiet parked his car in his garage and didn't report the crash until six hours later. When police arrived at Warrichaiet's house they found Ware dead. Carroll suffered serious injuries, officers found her at the scene of the accident around midnight Monday morning. Warrichait's next court appearance will be July 24th.
