The state will be assessing polling place accessibility, when Wisconsin voters head to the polls on Tuesday. Government Accountability Board Elections Division Administrator Nat Robinson says they're following up on work done two years ago by the Legislative Audit Bureau, when inspectors visited polling places in twenty municipalities, and discovered access problems for the elderly, people in wheelchairs or whose mobility is otherwise limited. Robinson says his agency will be conducting similar on site reviews on Tuesday. He says the Elections Division is available to help local governments improve polling place access, and will do more on-site assessments of polling places between now and the fall elections.
