The man accused in the brutal slaying of a Janesville area woman and her two teenage children has been bound over for trial. Testimony got underway Tuesday morning in Rock County Court in the preliminary hearing for 49-year-old James Koepp, who is accused of killing Danyetta, Nicole and Scott Lentz in January of 2007. Dr. Michael Stier performed the autopsies on all three bodies, and said some stab wounds on Danyetta occurred after she had been strangled. Stier testified that Nicole and Scott were also strangled and stabbed multiple times. Also testifying this morning was Rock County Sheriff's Deputy Ronald Schmidt. He was the first on the scene and secured it for investigators. Koepp's arraignment date is set for May 14th.
