More evidence that health care costs in Wisconsin have been going through the roof. A new report by the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance finds spending on health care in the Badger State has seen a major shift in the past two decades. Analyst Penny Durham says we've gone from six percent below the national average to six percent ABOVE. Per-capita spending on hospitals, clinics, and doctors amounts to more than $3500 a year. The report blames the increased spending on higher costs for hospitals, clinics, and physician services, as well as an aging population.
