Badgers open Big Ten play by routing Ohio State

The 23rd ranked Wisconsin Badger men’s basketball team opened Big Ten play this afternoon and had their way with 15th ranked Ohio State, beating the Buckeyes 65-43 before 17-thousand plus at the Kohl Center.

Trevon Hughes poured in 16 points to lead all scorers.  He helped the Badgers to 10 of 21 (47.6%) from 3-point range.  The Buckeyes converted just 30.8% of their 3-point attempts.

Jordan Taylor added 12 points and Jon Leuer 11 for Wisconsin (11-2).  Ohio State (10-3) got 14 points from William Buford in the loss.
