The Wisconsin Badgers are in a shooting slump, but they still managed to pull out a 79-71 overtime victory.
The Badgers trailed by as many as 16 points in the second half on Sunday afternoon, but pulled themselves back in it, thanks to guard Jordan Taylor. Taylor scored the final 8 points of regulation to tie the game and then added 10 points in overtime to win it for the Badgers.
Taylor finished with 20 points, including 18 of the teams final 24 points. Trevon Hughes led the way with 22 as the Badgers added to Penn State’s Big Ten misery. The Nittany Lions were thinking victory down the stretch, but remained winless in the Big Ten, now 0-7.
Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan said his Badgers understand that over time, things will eventually turn their way.
