Hockey Badgers wrap up WCHA play at Minnesota
The 3rd ranked Wisconsin men’s hockey team squares off against the Minnesota Gophers this weekend in the final weekend of the WCHA regular season. The Badgers (21-8-4) and Gophers (16-16-2) split a 2-game series earlier this season in Madison.
Game 1 of the series will be played at the Target Center in Minneapolis tonight because of a scheduling conflict at Mariucci Arena. The second and final game of the series is back at Mariucci on Sunday afternoon.
The two teams are meeting for the 253rd and 254 times with Minnesota holding the all-time advantage 151-83-18, 85-25-6 in Minneapolis. Wisconsin’s Podge Turnbull said he can’t wait for the matchup.

Green Bay women clinch home court
Talk about sure bets in sports. UW-Green Bay (25-3, 14-3 Horizon League) was home against winless Youngstown State (0-28, 0-17) with a chance to wrap up home court advantage for the upcoming Horizon League playoffs.
The Phoenix rolled to a 84-45 win in front of 2,000+ at the Kress Center, clinching at least a share of their 12th straight regular season championship. Along with it, Green Bay wrapped up home court advantage throughout the conference tournament next week.
Including post season games, the Phoenix has now won 25 straight games on the home court.
The Penguins remain the only winless team, men or women in the country.
