Tom Barrett is firing back at Republican criticisms of high speed rail. The Democratic candidate for governor say it’s a good thing Mark Neumann and Scott Walker weren’t around when President Eisenhower proposed an earlier transportation project. “With this line of thinking, we would have said no to the federal dollars to create the Interstate Highway System, because the federal government refused to plow the snow” said Barrett in response to Walker and Neumann claims that the high speed rail will likely require future state subsidies. Chiefs sign former Badger, Chambers
The Kansas City Chiefs have resigned unrestricted free agent wide receiver Chris Chambers.
The former Wisconsin Badger standout joined the Chiefs last season and played in a total of 9 games. Chambers finished with 36 catches for 608 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Chambers was Miami’s second round pick in 2001. He played in a Pro Bowl in 2005. He then spent 2007 through 2009 with San Diego before being released and signing with the Chiefs last season. Chambers has 57 career touchdown catches and over 74-hundred receiving yards.
Teen faces adult charges in OD death

Day provides snapshot into domestic violence
Every year nationwide, one day is selected to give a glimpse at how many people are using domestic abuse services. On September 15th, 2009 1,900 victims accessed service, according to the Wisconsin Coalition against Domestic Violence.
Brewers vs. Cubs today
