Remembering Tibet’s uprising (AUDIO)
A rally at the Capitol Wednesday marked the 51st anniversary of the start of the Tibetan Uprising against Chinese occupation. Wisconsin Tibetan Association President Thubden Sangha said Tibet is in danger of being annihilated as a country and culture, as the government in Beijing moves more and more Han Chinese into Tibet. He said much of what happens in that country remains out of sight. “The Chinese government has always been trying to hide everything,” Sangha said. “It has tried to stop the peoples desires for freedom, for some kind of liberty to be able to do what they want in Tibet.” [Read more...]
Interstate chase ends safely
No injuries following a chase down the Interstate Wednesday morning. Police in the Dane County village McFarland police were called for a domestic situation where a man reportedly took a woman at knifepoint. Dane County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Elise Schaffer said the long chase began at around 9:00 a.m. and eventually ended in Rock County, where metal spikes were used to slow down the suspect’s car. He and the woman did know one another, according to Shaffer, who said the woman wasn’t hurt. Investigators are still sorting out the details.

Brewers face Padres in Cactus League today
Following a 5-3 win over the Cubs on Tuesday, the Milwaukee Brewers (3-3) will take on the San Diego Padres (1-4) today in Peoria.
The Brewers will send Yovani Gallardo to the mound against Sean Gallagher. Brewers starting pitchers have posted a 1.93 ERA this spring, while holding opponents to a .220 batting average.

Wisconsin BBB bucks national trend in complaints
Wisconsin companies fared much better than the national average last year, when it comes to the number of complaints to the Better Business Bureau. State director Ran Hoth says Badger State businesses says while complaints were up almost nine percent across the country last year saw a nearly eight percent drop in complaints.
