Gomez’ hustle helps Brewers beat Cubs 5-4

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez streaked from 1st to 3rd on a sacrifice bunt and Xavier Nady’s errant throw allowed Gomez to score the game winner in a 5-4 win over the Cubs at Miller Park. 

Both teams struggled in many aspects of the game, but in the end, the Brewers made the big play when it counted.  The Brewers managed to win 2 of 3 over the Cubs. [Read more...]

Confident Dems meet in Middleton (AUDIO)

Wisconsin Democrats are holding their annual convention in Middleton, and the state party chair insists the mood is confident. “We think we have growing momentum, that we’re well positioned, that we’re a strong unified party,” said Mike Tate. “I am confident that we’re going to have a great year, we have great candidates, and quite frankly we’re just going to run better campaigns than the Republicans.” [Read more...]

Neumann pushes for concealed carry (VIDEO)

A Republican candidate for governor says he thinks Wisconsin should allow concealed carry for handguns. Former Congressman Mark Neumann says Wisconsin citizens should have the right to carry firearms for self-defense. He’s pledging to sign legislation that would legalize concealed carry in the Badger State.
