Wolf rebounds with solid outing against Angels

Randy Wolf followed a terrible outing with one of his best of the season.  Wolf held the Los Angeles Angels  to 2-runs on 3-hits in 7-innings to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 12-2 win over the Angels.

Wolf did run into a few problems in the second inning, surrendering both L.A. runs, but he retired the next 13 batters after that, thanks to a good curve ball.

Ryan Braun’s 3rd inning grand slam gave the Brewers the lead for good as the Brewers scored 5 runs in the frame.  They went on to score 5 more runs in the 7th inning to break it open.

Casey McGehee also hit his 11th home run of the season when his fly ball bounced off of Tori Hunter’s glove and over the outfield wall.

Game 2 of the 3-game series is tonight.
