Newly acquired Bucks guard Chris Douglas-Roberts checked out his new home, taking a physical and meeting the media in Milwaukee on Tuesday.
The Bucks sent a 2012 second round draft pick to the New Jersey Nets for the 6’7 shooting guard last week. Douglas-Roberts said he’s excited about a fresh start with the Bucks and is looking forward to playing for coach Scott Skiles.

Douglas-Roberts averaged 9.8 points in 67 games for the Nets last season, but saw his playing time diminish when coach Lawrence Frank was fired and replaced by Kiki Vandeweghe.
Douglas-Roberts is also excited about the prospects of playing with point guard Brandon Jennings. He said he will not be a part of the Bucks’ summer league team in Las Vegas next month, but will be in Milwaukee working out and learning from the coaching staff.
