People don’t realize that dental infections can be a life threatening illness for people.”

Bucks Go Big In Draft (AUDIO)

The Bucks went big in the first round of the NBA Draft last night by selecting 6’11, 235 pound power forward Larry Sanders from Virginia Commonwealth.  Sanders averaged 14 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks per game as a junior at VCU.  Sanders is expected to come in and help out in the paint right away with the pending free agent loss of Kurt Thomas and the departure of Dan Gadzuric via trade.

Earlier this month, the Bucks denied rumors that they had already promised Sanders that they would draft him.  Sanders says that he really enjoyed his visit to Milwaukee and felt a connection with the organization.

In the 2nd round the Bucks took 6’6 forward Darington Hobson from New Mexico with the 37th pick.  With the 44th pick the Bucks selected 7’0 center Jerome Jordan from Tulsa.  With the 47th pick the Bucks chose Oklahoma forward Tiny Gallon.

Marquette’s Lazar Hayward went to Washington with the 30th pick in the 1st round.

Bulaga Settles In (AUDIO)

Packers first round draft pick Brian Bulaga is making a smooth transition to the NFL from the University of Iowa.

Bulaga has not signed a contract yet and hopes to have one done before training camp opens on July 30th.  He says he knows there is a business side to the NFL and he’s letting his representatives take care of his rookie contract.

Bulaga says that he’s learned a lot about the NFL already by watching film and taking more reps against much faster defensive players in mini-camp and OTAs.

Bulaga says that he’s coming in during his rookie campaign to learn and doesn’t think much about beating out veteran Chad Clifton to start at left tackle.
