The Green Bay Phoenix’ run came to an end in the NCAA ”Sweet 16″ regional semifinals, falling Sunday to top-seeded Baylor 86-76 in Dallas.

Kayla Tetschlag scored 27 points and Celeste Hoewisch added 20 points for Green Bay (34-2), but Baylor (34-2) used a career-high 40 points from Brittney Griner and ended the Phoenix season.

Green Bay must replace three key seniors for next year and it’ll be interesting to see if they’ll be looking for a new head coach as well.  Matt Bollant is expected to be one of the top candidates for the women’s coaching vacancy at Wisconsin after Lisa Stone was fired last week.
