If Wisconsin Badger quarterback Russell Wilson is going to win the Heisman
Trophy, he’s going to earn it the good old-fashioned way, by his performance on the field.
Wilson entered the week No. 1 in the nation in passing efficiency with a rating of 216.89. He’s completed 74.8% of his passes for 1,391 yards with 13 touchdowns and only 1 interception.
UW’s Heisman campaign features a Twitter page and a Facebook page, both titled RussellManiaXVI. Coach Bret Bielema said Wilson will win the Heisman with his play, not his campaign.
