The Milwaukee Brewers took both games of their split-squad double-header in Cactus League play Sunday in Arizona.
In one game, the Brewers took care of the Royals 7-3. This game was highlighted by 2B prospect Scooter Gennett hitting for the cycle. Gennett is expected to start this year at Double-A Huntsville.
In the other game, Shaun Marcum made his first appearance on the mound this spring in a 7-1 win over the Dodgers. Marcum, who has been battling a sore right shoulder, tossed 3-scoreless innings. Also, Norichika Aoki clubbed his first Cactus league home run.
Milwaukee will take on the Cleveland Indians Monday at 3:05.
