Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Blair Kiel died on Sunday afternoon in Columbus, Indiana, after becoming sick at an Eastern gathering.
Kiel, 50, played for the Packers in 1990 and 1991, backing up starter Don Majkowski. In those two seasons, Kiel threw for 865 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions.
Kiel was drafted in 1984 out of Notre Dame by Tampa Bay. He also played for the Indianapolis Colts.
