The lack of clutch hitting has been a big part of the Milwaukee Brewers slow start this season. Last night, the Brewers turned the table and Manager Ron Roenicke is hoping they’ve turned the corner.
Aramis Ramirez clubbed a 2-out, bases loaded triple to lead the Brewers to a 8-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds. All 8 Brewer runs came on two out hits.

Yovani Gallardo (2-3) also turned in one of his best performances of the season. Gallardo gave up two runs in six innings for his second win of the season. Gallardo tied a season high with eight strikeouts.

Jonathan Lucroy gave the Brewers their first runs, driving a 2-out, 2-run single to right in the bottom of the first.
Yovani Gallardo even helped himself at the plate with his first hit of the season, a rbi single in the fifth, driving in Jonathan Lucroy.
The Brewers only home run came from the light-hitting Cesar Izturis, who clubbed his first home run since July 10, 2010.
Zach Greinke pitches the final game of the series this afternoon. Greinke is 3-1 with a 4.11 ERA entering his start today. Johnny Cueto (4-0, 1.31) goes for the Reds this afternoon.
