Mark Buehrle had the Brewers number Thursday as the (40-42) Miami Marlins blanked the (38-44) Milwaukee Brewers 4-0 at Miller Park. The win gave Miami a split of the 4-game series.
Buehrle went 7 2/3 innings allowing just 6-hits while striking out 8-batters as his record improved to 8-8 on the season. Fiers had a stretch of 20+ scoreless innings snapped in the 4th. Norichika Aoki and Aramis Ramirez each had 2-hits for a Milwaukee offense that had just 7-hits for the game.
