Green Bay police have arrested six men and one woman for their involvement in the shooting death of 15 year-old Jeremy Teller on Tuesday night. Six were apprehended in Oneida, a seventh turned himself in.
Police Lieutenant Andy Lewis said that as the group of suspects got out of a car just after 11:00 p.m. Tuesday night, they encountered Jeremy Teller and a friend.
Lewis wouldn’t get into the details of what occurred, but said 18-year-old Julio Gonzalez of Oneida admitted to pulling out a .38 caliber handgun and firing two shots. One bullet struck Teller in the back, the other missed his friend.
Lewis said neither Teller nor his friend had any involvement with a fight earlier in the day. “Jeremy Teller was in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Through their investigation, police were led to a home in Oneida, where five people were taken into custody. In addition to Gonzalez, 20-year-old Bradley Tower of Green Bay, 21-year-old Ceclia Holguin, 25-year-old Miguel Garcia of Oneida, and 17-year-old Samuel Godinez of Chicago were arrested. Of the two remaining suspects, 23-year-old Issac Robbs turned himself in to Green Bay police, and 19-year-old Terill Gutierez was taken into custody by Oneida officers.
