Police in Wisconsin and Illinois are searching for suspects in a pair of weekend homicides of two people from southern Wisconsin. Lori Daniels, 36, of Janesville was shot to death while riding in her alleged killer’s SUV Sunday morning on Interstate 39-90 just south of the Wisconsin-Illinois state line.
In Fitchburg, 39 year-old Willie Taylor was stabbed to death at the apartment of his girlfriend. She was wounded, and police said the suspect is a former boyfriend, identified as 25 year-old Dominique Hale. Taylor was from Sun Prairie. Fitchburg police said they’ve been getting leads about where Hale might be located.
The suspect in the death of Daniels, 22 year-old Kody Walsh of Rockford, Illinois, was being chased by officers until he crashed his car in Rockford and ran off. Illinois State Police consider Walsh armed and dangerous.
