Letting a good team get an early lead in the NBA can lead to trouble. That’s what
happened last night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The San Antonio Spurs got up early, led 69-52 at halftime and went on to a 117-110 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The 69 points in the first half is the most scored against the Bucks this season.
Tim Duncan scored 28 points, 13 rebounds and six assists and Tony Parker added 23 points and 11 assists to lead the Spurs.
The Bucks cut the lead to 9 early in the fourth quarter, but the Spurs answered with a
10-0 run to eliminate the threat.
The Bucks got 31 from Brandon Jennings and 20 points and 9 rebounds from rookie John Henson.
The Bucks (16-14) have lost two straight games. They’ll return home Friday night to host Houston.
