Playing without their head coach on Tuesday, the Marquette Golden Eagles won their Big East Conference opener, 82-76 over U-Conn in overtime at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Buzz Williams wasn’t around last night, instead serving a 1-game suspension for an off-season recruiting violation.
Junior Cadougan was the hero, hitting a buzzer beating 3-point basketball in regulation to force the overtime.
