A wild crowd is expected in Green Bay on Saturday night for the playoff game between the Packers and their arch rivals, the Minnesota Vikings. As a precautionary measure, the team says it will cut off alcohol sales earlier than normal. The Packers usually stop selling adult beverages at the end of the third quarter. But on Saturday, the team says the last call for alcohol will be at the end of halftime, at the start of the third quarter.
The Packers also say they’ll provide extra police and security to discourage fans of the border-state rivals from getting out of hand. There’s a fan code-of-conduct among the Green and Gold that ticket holders are expected to follow.
The playoff game starts at 7:00 on Saturday night.
