The WCHA Men’s race may go down to the wire. The #18 Wisconsin Badgers (8-5-5) head on the road to #7 North Dakota (8-5-5) tonight for a Friday-Saturday set.
Both the Badgers and the Fighting Sioux enter the weekend with 21-points, just 4-behind 1st place St. Cloud State. Overall in the league, only 5-points separates the top-7 teams. St. Cloud Sate has 25-points, Minnesota and Nebraska-Omaha are each a point back with 24. Minnesota State joins Wisconsin and North Dakota at 21-points. Denver is the last in the group with 20-points.
The Badgers have five more WCHA series on the season with four of them coming against teams tied or ahead of them. Junior Defenseman Joe Faust and the team is aware of what’s ahead of them:
