An Oklahoma man will face trial in Wisconsin, for a 23 year-old sexual assault. Glen Gouker, who was extradited to Wisconsin last week, has been bound over for trial in Waupaca County Circuit Court on a charge of First Degree Sexual Assault.
According to the criminal complaint, Gouker sexually assaulted a then 20-year-old woman at a park in the village of Iola in November 1990. He was allegedly wearing a mask, and also threatened his victim. Investigators say DNA evidence links Gouker to the crime.
The 41 year-old Gouker has also been named as a person of interest in the 1992 stabbing deaths of Tanna Togstad and Tim Mumbrue at home in the Town of Royalton. He has not been charged in that case. An arraignment on the sexual assault charge has been scheduled for February 27.
