This is the time of year that teams are supposed to be cleaning up their act, getting
ready for the playoffs. Watching the Milwaukee Bucks play and you’d have to wonder just what their agenda is all about.
Poor defense, sloppy offense, turnovers, you name it. They all led to the Bucks 107-98 home court loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Minnesota has nothing to play for, yet they were playing like you’d like to see the Bucks playing down the stretch.
Point guard Ricky Rubio hit his first five 3-point shots and finished with 19 points, 12 assists and 8 steals.
In the paint, Nikola Pekovic hit 11 of 14 and led the Timberwolves with 27 points.

The Bucks still saw their magic number to clinch a playoff spot reduced to two when Philadelphia lost at Charlotte. But Boston won last night, which means they have a
2 1/2 game lead on the Bucks for the 7th spot in the Eastern Conference playoff chase. At this point, it’s not looking like the Bucks will be able to overtake Boston.
Ersan Ilyasova had 29 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Bucks. Monta Ellis added 19 and Mike Dunleavy 15 points off the bench.
The Bucks are at in New York to face the Knicks on Friday night.
