With six games left in the regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks trail the Boston Celtics by 2 1/2 games for the 7th spot in the Eastern Conference playoff chase. The Bucks are in Miami to face the Heat tonight, their likely first round opponent in the playoffs in two weeks.
Miami has a 2-1 advantage in the season series against the Bucks, but Milwaukee just might catch a break. The Heat may be looking to rest some of its starters for the upcoming playoffs. Dwayne Wade said Sunday that he might sit out the remainder of the regular season to rest his sore right knee.
The Heat is 60-16 on the season. They’re 1-win away from tying their franchise record 61 victories, set in the 1996-97 season.
The Bucks will have their hands full with road games this week. They’ll also travel to Orlando on Wednesday, Atlanta on Friday and Charlotte on Saturday.
