A Fond du Lac runner who competed in the Boston Marathon, the scene of fatal explosions, says he wants to go back there to compete. Ted Eischeid had finished the race about 50 minutes before the first bomb went off. At the time of the explosions he was several blocks away but saw the two blasts.
Eischeid was one of the Boston Marathon runners who spoke during a memorial ceremony for the bombing victims prior to the Oshkosh Half-Marathon Sunday.
