ESPN reported Tuesday that Major League Baseball is seeking to suspend Ryan
Braun and a number of other players connected to the Biogenesis Clinic in Miami.
Braun didn’t learn of the report until after last night’s 4-3 win over the Oakland A’s.
When asked about the report after the game, Braun offered nothing.

Braun said the speculation is not affecting him on the field. He said he’s dealt with this for a couple of years now and he is pretty good at avoiding distractions.
The founder of Biogenesis, a Miami anti-aging clinic has agreed to talk to Major League Baseball about players linked to performance-enhancing drugs.
Clinic operator Tony Bosch will reportedly provide proof that Braun and other players purchased PED’s from the clinic. Faced with the prospect of lawsuits and possible prosecution, Bosch reportedly cut a deal with MLB to talk about his association with players, which is a big breakthrough in the investigation.
Braun could be on the hook for as much as 100 games.
Braun failed a drug test in 2011, but his suspension was overturned by an arbitrator.
