Wilson Ramos came off of the Washington disabled list and clubbed the go-ahead 3-run home run in the 7th inning to lift the Nationals to a 8-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday.
Ramos drove in a career high-five runs as the Nationals earned a split of the four-game series.
The Brewers had just tied the game at 5 in the top half of the 7th on home runs from Yuniesky Bettancourt and Carlos Gomez, but the bullpen couldn’t hang on. Brandon Kintzler served up the game winning three run homer.
Ramos had missed 44-games with a strained left hamstring.
He finished with 3-hits. The Brewers finally return home and will open a weekend series against the New York Mets at Miller Park.
