The Milwaukee Bucks dropped their 11th straight road game Monday night, 101-88 to the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.
The loss dropped the Bucks to 36-38 as they continue their struggle in hanging on to a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks are just 1 1/2 games in front of Miami (34-39) for the 6th playoff spot in the East and three games in front of both Boston (33-41) and Brooklyn (32-40) who are tied for eighth.
Bucks coach Jason Kidd wasn’t happy with his team’s performance, or their effort.
DeMarre Carroll had 23 points for the Hawks (56-18). Al Horford added 18 points and 7 rebounds.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 18 points on 7 of 9 shooting for the Bucks. Zaza Pachulia added 17 points and 13 rebounds.
The Bucks return home to host rival Chicago on Wednesday night, The Bucks are 0-3 against the Bulls this season.
New Colors
The Bucks are expected to reveal a new color scheme for their uniforms starting next season. It’s a move that principal owners Wes Edens and Marc Lasry said they hoped could be done after taking ownership of the team last spring.
