Residents across Wisconsin will get a change to weigh in on Governor Scott Walker’s proposed biennial budget. The Joint Finance Committee has scheduled four public hearings around the state later this month, where people will be able to offer their feedback on the plan.
The first hearing is March 18th at Brillion High School in Calumet County. Two days later, the budget writers will take testimony at Alverno College in Milwaukee. The Joint Finance Committee travels to the northwestern part of the state March 23rd for a hearing at UW Barron County Campus in Rice Lake. The final hearing is March 26th at Reedsburg High School, west of Baraboo.
All of the Joint Finance Committee hearings will run from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., but there may be some flexibility based on the availability of the venue.
