Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson continues to be a spectator in 11-on-11 work during OTA workouts this week. He’s recovering from off-season hip surgery.
Nelson said he’s “right where we want to be,” in terms of his recovery and said he’ll be ready by the time training camp rolls around in late July.
Nelson has been at practice, helping younger receivers with their game. He’s also been at the facility five mornings a week through the off-season while rehabbing from surgery.
OTA’s
The Packers still have a pair of OTA workouts left, but held their last open to the public session on Wednesday. They’ll hold their mandatory June Minicamp next week and Tuesday’s workout (10:30am), will be open to the public.
