Wisconsin safety Michael Caputo has been cleared to play by UW’s medical staff to play in Saturday’s home opener against Miami of Ohio at Camp Randall Stadium.
Caputo worked with the No. 1 defense on Thursday in practice after suffering a concussion in last Saturday’s season opening loss to Alabama.
Caputo was hurt on the fourth play against the Crimson Tide and was held out for the remainder of the game.
Corey Clement
Tailback Corey Clement’s (groin) playing status for Saturday’s game won’t be determined until pregame warmups.
Clement was held to 8 carries and 16 yards rushing in the opener.
