Myles White finally made the Green Bay Packers 53-man roster in his third year with the team. Unfortunately for him, the Packers went out and signed WR James Jones who had been released on Saturday by the New York Giants and needed to trim one more player. That player turned out to be White.
White led the Packers with 16 catches for 157 yards and a pair of touchdown receptions during the preseason. His work solidified the number-5 spot and drew constant praise from head coach Mike McCarthy.
White originally joined the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2013 but missed the cut coming out of training camp in both 2013 and 2014. He was signed back to the practice squad each season.
White will have to clear waivers for the Packers bring him back to the practice squad again, but White may look for work elsewhere, not having made it with the Packers for a third straight year.
