The Green Bay Packers have promoted Jon-Eric Sullivan to director of college scouting and hired former Packers safety Charlie Peprah as a scouting assistant.
Sullivan is in his 13th season with the club and spent the last 12 as a college scout. He previously served as the team’s NFL representative to the annual NFL Scouting Combine and authored evaluations of all prospective seniors in the Southwest region. Sullivan joined the team’s football operations department on July 12, 2004, after serving as a scouting intern during the Packers 2003 training camp.
Peprah played in the NFL for seven seasons, starting 27 of 74 games played for the Packers, Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys. He was originally a fifth-round pick by the New York Giants out of the University of Alabama in 2006 and was claimed off waivers by Green Bay one week after the start of the regular season. In two separate stints, he played a total of 67 games with 26 starts for the Packers.
