The second-ranked Wisconsin women’s volleyball team rebounded from its first loss of the season by sweeping Louisville 25-19, 26-24, 25-20 in its second match of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
The Badgers improved to 6-1 on the season while Louisville falls to 4-4.
Wisconsin was led by redshirt senior Romana Kriskova and junior Kelli Bates with 10 kills apiece.
Defense was key to the match with Wisconsin outdigging the Cardinals 63-43. Freshman M.E. Dodge had a career-high 19 digs while Bates picked up her first double-double of the season with 14 digs.
Sophomore Tionna Williams and Haleigh Nelson were named to the all-tournament team.
The Badgers will wrap up the non-conference season next weekend with a match at No. 16 Texas A&M on Friday and at No. 3 Texas on Sunday.
