Wisconsin sophomore volleyball standout Tionna Williams has been named the Big Ten Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
Williams helped the second-ranked Badgers to a pair of wins over No. 18 San Diego and Texas A & M-Corpus Christi.
For the week, Williams averaged 2.2 blocks per set and recorded a total of 11 total blocks in just five sets.
It’s the third career Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week award for Williams.
The Badgers are off to a 5-0 start after winning the HotelRED Invitational this past weekend in Madison.
