Cold shooting leads to another Bucks defeat!

Another sub par shooting performance means another loss for the Milwaukee Bucks, 90-77 to the Bulls in Chicago.

Bucks surprise Lakers out west!

Coming off a 26-point setback at Portland on Monday night, things weren’t looking real good for the Milwaukee Bucks, who will play the next 4 to 6 weeks without their star point guard Brandon Jennings (broken foot).  But looks can be deceiving.

The Bucks marched into Los Angeles last night and clamped down defensively on the Lakers, pulling out a 98-79 victory, despite being down to just 9 healthy players. [Read more...]

Bucks agree to 5-year deal with Gooden

According to Yahoo Sports, the Milwaukee Bucks have reached agreement on a five-year, $32-million contract with free agent Drew Gooden.

Gooden has played for 8 different teams in 8-seasons and is looking for some stability with the Bucks.

The Bucks are still trying to work out a new deal with free agent John Salmons who played 30 games with Bucks last season, averaging 19.9 points a game.

Salmons opts out of deal

Milwaukee Bucks forward John Salmons opted out of the final year of his contract on Tuesday, a move the Bucks had expected since the season ended.

The move means Salmons will be an unrestricted free agent tomorrow (Thursday) when NBA teams are allowed to begin contract discussions with free agents.

The Bucks say they remain very interested in re-signing the 6’6 shooting guard to a multi-year deal, after he averaged 19.9 points a game and was a key ingredient to the Bucks march to the playoffs.

Salmons must decide to stay or go

When the Milwaukee Bucks made the deal that brought John Salmons to Milwaukee in a trade with the Chicago Bulls, that’s when the teams playoff hopes went up dramatically.  Now that the season is over, it’s time for the Bucks to do whatever they can to keep him around.

In fact, if you live in Salmons neighborhood, mow his lawn or wash his car.  Do whatever it takes for Salmons to stay in Milwaukee.  Unless the Bucks pony up for a long term deal, Salmons has one year left on his contract, but he can opt out of the deal and become a free agent if he desires.
