Mark Buehrle had the Brewers number Thursday as the (40-42) Miami Marlins blanked the (38-44) Milwaukee Brewers 4-0 at Miller Park. The win gave Miami a split of the 4-game series.
Buehrle went 7 2/3 innings allowing just 6-hits while striking out 8-batters as his record improved to 8-8 on the season. Michael Fiers had a solid start for Milwaukee but got nothing in the run support column. He lasted 7 1/3 allowing 2-runs on 7-hits while striking out 9-batters but fell to 3-3 on the season.
