Booz Allen heads in to Tuesday

June 27, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Booz Allen Classic golf tournament still isn't over and Ben Curtis will have to wait yet one more day for his first victory since the 2003 British Open. Because of more thunderstorms, the final round of the Booz Allen Classic has been suspended for a second straight day. Curtis was on the 17th green with a 7-shot lead when play was stopped. Steve Stricker is among 4-golfers that are tied for second at 15-under par. It sets up the PGA Tour's first Tuesday finish in 26 years. The last time it happened was the 1980 Tucson Open.
