Brewers club four homers, blank Cubs

June 27, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Carlos Lee clubbed 1 of 4 Brewer home runs on Monday night as Milwaukee knocked off the Cubs 6-0 in Chicago. Prince Fielder homered twice and Gabe Gross also added a homer, backing the solid pitching of Chris Capuano. Capuano worked 8 solid innings to improve to 9-4. He had to leave in the 9th after being struck on the left fore-arm with a line drive. Capuano suffered a bruised forearm and will evaluated today. The Cubs have now lost 8-straight at home, their longest losing streak since they dropped 12 in a row at Wrigley Field to start the 1994 season. Game 2 of the series is tonight.
