Brewers look lifeless in loss to Royals

June 26, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Brewers looked like a team that needed their Pepto-Bismol but the trainers forgot to pack it on the trip. After winning the series opener on Friday night, they coughed up a lead and lost Saturday, then were run over 6-0 on Sunday. The back to back losses dropped the Brewers back 2-games under .500 with a 4-game series against the Cubs in Chicago coming up next. Mark Redman continued his mastery of the Brewers, working 7 solid innings for his 5th straight win this season. He improved to 6-2 with a 2.49 ERA against the Brewers lifetime. Rick Helling, making his 2nd start of the season for the Brewers, struggled to find his control and was pulled after 63 pitches in three innings, allowing a run.
