Harris indicates a possible holdout could be coming

June 21, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Last month, Packers defensive back Al Harris and his agent Jack Bechta indicated Harris wouldn't on hand for any of the teams 14 voluntary opportunity sessions, but that he wouldn't continue that holdout into the start of training camp. This week, Harris said a holdout is a possibility. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Harris said he'd like to come and do his job, but everyone's got to be fair, too. Harris said it'll be interesting to see how it plays out. Harris is unhappy with his six-year, $18.6-million contract that he signed back in 2004. Harris says he has to do what's best for his family.
