Badger hockey losing players

July 11, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The success enjoyed by the Badger men's hockey team last season is costing them players. Forward Robbie Earl has already signed a pro contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs and now the Badgers leading scorer, Joe Pavelski, appears to be headed for the NHL as well. Pavelski is expected to sign a contract offer from the San Jose Sharks this week. Sophomore to be Jack Skille could also be in line for an offer from the Chicago Blackhawks.
