July 17, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Brewers stopped a 5 game losing skid and denied Arizona the 3 game series sweep with a 10-5 win on Sunday. Geoff Jenkins, Prince Fielder and Corey Hart all homered in the win. Dave Bush picked up the win. Claudio Vargas was hung with the loss. The Brewers open up a three game series in San Francisco tonight. Zach Jackson will start for the Brewers. The Giants counter with Jason Schmidt. They will throw the first pitch at 9:15pm tonight.
