Diener Back On Bench

July 20, 2006 By WRN Contributor

It didn't take former Fond du Lac High School Boys Basketball Coach Dick Diener long to find his way back to the bench. Just three weeks after he retired from high school coaching, Diener has been hired to coach one of the nation's best AAU teams at the Adidas Super 64 tournament in Las Vegas over the next week. Diener and former UCLA head coach Dick Diener will coach the Double Pump Elite team, which is made up of some of Southern California's best high school players. Diener says that most of the players on his team have already committed to high major division one programs.
