Hall plays long ball in Brewers win

July 25, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Bill Hall clubbed a pair of two-run home runs to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 12-8 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates at Miller Park. Hall's blasts were numbers 21 and 22 of the season. Carlos Lee went 3 for 3 with his 28th home run of the season and Jeff Cirillo added 3 hits to add to the teams 15-hit total. Doug Davis gave up 6 runs on 10 hits in six innings but got the win. He helped the Brewers win for just the 4th time in the last 13 games. Jason Bay was a perfect 4 for 4 with a two-run homer for the Pirates. Game two of the series is tonight.
